GSLL 3001 - Team Science 101

This curriculum is designed to build your capacity to participate in and lead interdisciplinary and translation scientific teams. It addresses the shift in science from an individual-based approach to a teamwork model of conducting clinical and translational research.  The program consists of completion of a self-paced online course followed by participation in six virtual workshops, which are each 2 hours in duration.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.

Please note that there are no refunds for open entry courses.

Dr. Jennifer E. Cross, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department Sociology, Director of Research at the Institute for the Built Environment, and Co-Director of the Center for Energy and Behavior at Colorado State University. She is a community sociologist, conducting research with and for community partners to solve community problems and improve quality of life. Her current research is funded by the U.S. EPA. That study examines the impact of green schools on student and teacher performance and health. At the university, she has also been involved in studies of high-impact teaching practices and the role of project-based learning on long-term learning outcomes.
