Dana Winkelman has been with the USGS Cooperative Research Unit program for over 20 years and has served as Unit Leader for the Colorado Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit since 2003. He also is an Associate Professor in the FWCB department. He earned a BS and MS at University of Nevada, Reno and a PhD from University of Georgia. His research interests include population dynamics, fish biology, fish disease, fish tracking and movement, and aquatic contaminants.
