ECE 502 - Advanced Fourier Optics

Introduction to optical systems for signal and information processing with emphasis on Fourier optics. Engineering design principles, models, and computational techniques for forward optical imaging and optical image reconstruction.

Prerequisite

ECE 311 (Linear System Analysis I) with a minimum grade of C; ECE 342 (Electromagnetic Fields and Devices II) with a minimum grade of C; MATH 340 (Intro to Ordinary Differential Equations with a minimum grade of C); Junior standing.. Credit not allowed for both ECE 502 and ECE 457
